Online booking
You can book online for all Lyceum productions and most of our events.
Please note that there is a £1 per ticket handling charge for all online orders.
Cards accepted are: Visa, Mastercard, Delta and Maestro. Unfortunately American Express cards cannot currently be used with our online booking system - please accept our apologies.
The Lyceum makes no extra charge for using a credit/debit card to book tickets.
By telephone
Call us on 0131 248 4848 – we’ll try and answer as quickly as we can, but if we’re unable to take your call quickly we’ll not leave you waiting on hold – instead, leave your name and phone number and we’ll call you back, usually within the next 15 minutes, and often even sooner!
Monday: 10am – 6pm
Tuesday – Saturday: 10am – 7pm (10am – 6pm on non-performance days)
Sunday and holidays: Answering service only. Messages will be returned as soon as possible on the next working day. Alternately, you can book online 7 days a week.
Group bookings 8+: 0131 248 4949 (Monday – Friday, 10am – 5pm)

In Person
Monday: The Box Office is open from 10am – 6pm.
Tuesday – Saturday: The Box Office is open from 10am until 7pm for advance booking and until 7.45pm for tickets for that evening’s performance (10am – 6pm on non-performance days).
Sunday: The Box Office is closed
Cards accepted in person are: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Delta, Switch/Maestro, Electron and Solo. For counter bookings only, payment can also be made by cash, cheque, postal order or sterling traveller's cheques.

By Post
If you don’t want to book online or call us and can’t make it in, it is also possible to book by post. Just send your ticket request (please include show dates, number of tickets required, seating preferences, and anything else we might need to know – including a return address!) along with full payment to:

Cheques should be made payable to The Royal Lyceum Theatre.
(If you would like your tickets posted there is a charge of 50p. Alternatively you can just pick them up at the Box Office on the night.)

Ticket Reservations
Unpaid reservations can be held for three days or, if booked within three days of the show, until 30 minutes prior to the performance.
Groups (8+) reservations can be held without payment until 2 weeks before the date of the chosen performance. For a group booking, please call 0131 248 4949.
Latecomers
Please ensure that you allow sufficient time to arrive at the theatre as latecomers may not be allowed in to the auditorium until a suitable break. This is at the discretion of the Theatre Manager and the performing company. Please note you may not be able to reach your allocated seats until the break for the interval.
