Talks, Events and Workshops - Backstage Tours

See behind the scenes at the Lyceum on one of our special backstage tours. With a different set for each play in the Season this is a great way to find out what things look like from the other side of the curtain.

You can also look around the Lyceum auditorium, plus many of our function rooms and other spaces using our 360 degree virtual tour.

Tours especially for School Groups

School groups now have two choices of tour:

Lyceum Theatre Tour

This tour focuses on the Lyceum Theatre as a busy producing theatre company. The tour includes the history of the Lyceum, theatre design, a visit to the Green Room, under the stage and the technical aspects of the current production.

Standard Grade Drama Tour

This tour is especially for Standard Grade Drama classes and focuses on the vocabulary used in theatre, looking at identifying parts of the stage and auditorium and looking at some of the technical aspects of a working stage.
 
Cost: £2 per student (min. 10 students per tour max. 20)

Tours are available on request and booked to fit in with our busy production schedule. Educational, informative and fun, a backstage tour opens up the world of theatre to students.
