Get Involved - Join LyT

LYT run a variety of projects and workshops which offer opportunities for a range of ages and levels of experience.

We also run weekly youth theatre classes but due to the popularity of the youth theatre, unfortunately we are not currently able to accept new applications.

If you add yourself onto our mailing list then we can let you know about projects and workshops coming up and you will be the first to know when we are accepting applications again for the weekly youth theatre classes.

In the meantime, details of projects you can get involved in are below.

LYT Engage (13-18 years)

As part of our Engage programme, which gives young people the opportunity to try different drama activities, we offer 5 week blocks of theatre skills sessions for 13-18 year olds. For more information please have a look at the flyer by clicking here.

When: Wednesdays, 5pm – 6.30pm.

How much: £35 per block (first come, first served).

Block 1- Using Scripts Creatively- 23^rd and 30^th Sept and 17^th, 14^th and 28^th Oct

Block 2- Action and Reaction- 11^th, 18^th and 25^th Nov and 2^nd and 9^th Dec

 

LYT Play (5-7 yrs)

Play combines games and lively activities, exploring drama through play. Sessions are run by drama tutors who have specific professional experience working with this age range. For more information on this term's activities please have a look at the flyer by clicking here.

When: Fridays, 2pm – 3.30pm.

How much: £25 per block (first come, first served).

Block 1- 25^th Sept, 2^nd, 9^th and 16^th Oct  (theme- In the night time)

Block 2- 6^th, 13^th, 20^th and 27^th Nov  (theme- Once upon a time...)
