Weekly Classes
We run weekly youth theatre classes for our LYT members which includes one or two performance opportunities each year. Members are also able to audition for an additional production each year which is performed in a different theatre in March. As well as shows and classes, members also have trips to see performances, casting opportunities, one off workshops and end of term events.
Mini LYT is for 8-10 year olds and classes take place on a Thursday and Friday afternoon
Junior LYT is for 11-13 year olds and classes take place on a Saturday
Senior LYT is for 14-18 year olds and classes take place on Tuesday- Thursday evenings
Mini LYT costs £75 per term and weekly classes last 1.5 hours. Junior and Senior LYT cost £85 per term and weekly classes last 2 hours.
Classes are led by a tutor and supported by an assistant. Senior LYT 1 work with a different professional director each term and are supported by an assistant. All LYT staff are experienced professionals who are active theatre makers, practitioners and arts professionals in their own right.
